Rain

"…For the rains He sends are an expression of His Grace…" ~Joel 2:23

Sitting here listening to the rain, I'm reminded just how much we all need the sprinklers from heaven to open up upon us! The grass is greener, the flowers are brighter, and all the old pollen is washed away once the rain stops.

It's the same in my life, when there's been little time given to prayer and reading His Word. Life grows brown and dull, and troublesome.

Oh that His rain would wash me brighter and whiter for His service.

It is by His grace that He calls me back to hunger and thirst after His 'rain'.

The rain is a gentle reminder of His constant grace and love towards me.
